Artisan Posts "Road To Khitai" Video

Artisan has posted a video clip online for the song "Road To Khitai," which can be viewed below and features video from the "Age of Conan" game. The band also commented on the clip:

"Artisan is a Norwegian band project and media experiment lead by your's truly: Jens F. Ryland. As a band we will continue to make music without being tied to a genre or put in a shelf. As a media project Asgeir Mickelson and myself will continue to make posts about our lives as musicians on this blog along with creating new possibilities to implement our music.

"The first Artisan video is a fan-video from the online game 'Age of Conan' by Funcom. I play AoC actively and this is my tribute to a brilliant game. Playing AoC is in itself a good inspiration to create music, and that is why this whole band and this particular song has come to life. Artisan is not signed to any label and at this time we have no live plans."

The lineup for this first song and video is:
ICS Vortex - bass and vocals (ex-Dimmu Borgir, ICS Vortex, Borknagar, Arcturus)
Mustis - keys (ex-Dimmu Borgir)
Asgeir Mickelson - drums and guitar (ex-Borknagar, ex-Testament, Spiral Architect. Sarke, ICS Vortex)
Jens F. Ryland - guitar and video production (Borknagar, ICS Vortex)
Vegasti - video editing and production

Artisan Project Taps I.C.S. Vortex

Jens F. Ryland has checked in with the following update about I.C.S. Vortex and Asgeir Mickelson working on the Artisan project:

"What a day! It’s exciting to see the first Artisan project evolving like this. As I said yesterday I picked up Vortex and Asgeir and we did the vocals in Toproom studio. I’m not going to say to much about this session now, lets just see the video I made from the recording session :)

"If you’re wondering when you can listen to this song, it’s not decided yet. I’m going to work out the progression as soon as I can and I’ll keep you posted."
