Susperia On The Road With Mortiis

Norwegian metallers SUSPERIA have confirmed details of a major European tour in support of the recently released Unlimited album. The band, Athera - vocals, Memnock - bass guitar, Tjodalv - drums, Elvorn and Cyrus - guitars, are set to team up with fellow Norwegians Mortiis on a double headline package under the banner of The Unlimited Grudge Tour 2004. Starting in the UK on 15th September the tour will run through 19 countries finishing in Belgium on 14th November.

As previously reported, Susperia appear at The Hole In The Sky - Bergen Metal Fest V in Bergen, Norway on Friday 27th August 2004. The band will perform at the USF venue alongside KREATOR, KATATONIA, ENTOMBED among others.

Mortiis Announce European Tourdates

The following update has been posted at the official MORTIIS website:

“In advance of the forthcoming album The Grudge, Mortiis just completed two remixes for the confirmed single and video for the song of the same name.

The release date for the single has been set for August 9th, and will contain the following tracks: ‘The Grudge’ (single edit)’, ‘The Grudge’ (despectus) and ‘Decadent & Desperate’ (Flickin The Bitch Switch mix). There will also be a vinyl 7" version, more info will follow shortly.

A video for ‘The Grudge’ will be filmed in July, more info will follow shortly on this as well..”

Earache Records recently announced that Mortiis will release an album of new material, entitled "The Grudge", is September.

The follow up to 2001’s "The Smell Of Rain" has been recorded over the last six months at Silvertone Studios in Fredrickstad, Norway by Mortiis (vocals, synths, programming, sound design), Levi Gawron, (guitar), Asmund Sveinunggard (guitar) and Leo Troy (drums) and has been co-produced by Vegard Blomberg. The album is due to be mastered at Norway’s premier facility, The Living Room in Oslo, Norway.

"The Grudge" will contain ten new tracks, including ‘Decadent And Desperate’ and ‘Broken Skin’, with all the songs drawing from an eclectic mix of inspirations, emotions and experiences.

Mortiis Set Album Name As 'The Grudge'

The title of the follow up to Mortiis' 2001 critically acclaimed 'The Smell Of Rain' has been confirmed as 'THE GRUDGE' and is scheduled for release on September 13 2004 in Uk and Europe and Sept 14 USA.

The album has been recorded over the last six months at Silvertone Studios in Fredrikstad, Norway by Mortiis (Vocals, Synths, Programming, Sound Design), Levi Gawron, (Guitar), Asmund Sveinunggard (Guitar) and Leo Troy (Drums) and has been co-produced by Vegard Blomberg and was mastered at Norway's premier facility 'The Living Room' in Oslo.
