Murder Junkies

Formed: 1991
From: TX, United States
Last Known Status: Active

Background

Punk rockers, Murder Junkies started in the late 1980s (exact year is unavailable). During this time, they occasionally served as shock rocker GG Allin's backing band. The group received its most recognition while playing with GG Allin in the period of 1991-1993. GG Allin died in 1993, but the group continued without him. Merle Allin, GG's brother, and Dino "The Naked Drummer" Sex remained the most consistent figures in the band. The group went through a number of members that included The Ramone's Dee Dee Ramone. In April 2011, The Murder Junkies released its first LP recording "Road Killer" since the days of GG.
