The maiden studio recordings from the Assembly of Light Choir will see release this week via At A Loss Recordings, boasting six ethereal hymns from the twenty-some member female secular choir. Recorded at Machines With Magnets in the choir's hometown of Providence, Rhode Island, the self-titled album features contributions from members of The Body, Braveyoung, Work/Death, Daughters, and more, creating some of the most unique songcraft in recent memory.

Assembly of Light just returned from an intense West Coast tour with close friends, and labelmates, The Body and Braveyoung, where all three bands presented their own solo contributions as well as collaborative movements with members of all three bands simultaneously, as they have on previous tours on the East Coast.
Further tour plans will be unveiled in the weeks ahead as the choir permeates new parts of the Earth with its presence.
NPR has posted The Body's full performance with The Assembly Of Light Choir in NYC from a recent string of tour dates. Most of the tour featured 13 members of The Assembly Of Light Women’s Choir, while the Manhattan performance — a fully seated event — featured all 24 members of the choir. Providence, Rhode Island duo The Body is preparing to wage war on the East Coast once again this June, this time bearing opening and collaborative support from their hometown allies in The Assembly Of Light Choir. The currently announced dates are as follows:
