Blackthorn has checked in with the following announcement about streaming a new cover song online:
"Our new internet single 'Sister September' is available online! As many of you know, we play a cover version of this song, originally written and performed by French symphonic black metal band Anorexia Nervosa.
"Since we got many positive reviews, we decided to go even further and record this song. So, today we are proud to share with you that a studio version of 'Sister September' is finally available online! We'd like to thank our fans for all the support and encouragement and Anorexia Nervosa for being an endless inspiration to us."
After their bombastic and acclaimed 2002 debut album "Ultraviolence über alles", Count Nosferatu Kommando are finally back with their long awaited second coming, to be released next November on Season of Mist.
Pretty soon after he left French black metal act ANOREXIA NERVOSA, frontman Hreidmarr was quick to rerun the CNK war machine, together with old comrade Heinrich Von B. joined by harsh EBM star Sylvicious (TAMTRUM) on drums, and by (in)famous Parisian designer Valnoir (SECT) on bass, the CNK dream team is now complete and ready to grind, raze, crush, and piss you off with an incredibly heavy opus of Wagner-like and anti-politically correct electro-metal. Entitled "L'Hymne à la Joie", the band's sophomore album is produced by Stefan Bayle (ANOREXIA NERVOSA).
In a message posted at the band website, Anorexia Nervosa guitarist Stefan Bayle has announced that he has put the band in "stand-by" mode, fearing the group become "some sort of parody" of itself.
The decision comes following a failed search to secure a new vocalist for the band, following former singer Hreidmarr's departure from the group.
Although unable to predict when the band may resurface, Stefan hesitates to call this a split.

Hreidmarr, the vocalist for raging symphonic black metallists ANOREXIA NERVOSA has left the band:
"Leaving ANOREXIA NERVOSA was definitely not the easiest thing to do as we've shared so much during our time together as this band had become a vivid part of my daily life. For 7 years, the band has been giving me so many opportunities on a musical and human level and has heavily contributed to become the person I'm today. Still, I honestly thought I had reached the end of a personal era with the album 'Redemption Process' and I now feel the need to take a different path. I'm also absolutely proud of what I have been able to achieve with the rest of the band members who will always remain my best friends and I wish them the very best for the future."
ANOREXIA NERVOSA is actively looking for a new vocalist and interested parties can contact : email@example.com and send demos to : Anorexia Nervosa, BP 1064, 87051 Limoges Cedex France.
