Swedish outfit Sister dropped new album "Disguised Vultures" on January 21st in North America, and has today teamed up with Revolver Magazine to premiere the music video for the track "My Enemy." Check out the new video produced by Jimmy Johansson below.
Sister drummer/backing vocalist Cari comments on the track: "My Enemy is a trip through a chaos filled mind. The lyrics speak about personal feelings on the ups and downs in life and also about what the world has become today. As the opener for the album this song goes out 110% from the start to seconds after hit the brakes and then come back with full force again. That's pretty much how we live our lives today."
The video's producer Jimmy Johansson adds, "My vision with this video was to make it 'in your face' as much as possible, just like the song. I wanted to portrait the ugly sides of humanity such as war, murder, torture, school dances, poverty, starvation, gluttony and so on. Hopefully we can make someone think. If the video doesn't affect you in any way, we have failed. And if you think it's too much, then you should just stay at home and not watch the news ever again and keep on ignoring." More...

Sister comments on the song: "Naked is a slow and powerful song that was written during some dark times. It reflects the feeling of being exposed and how life sometimes can be cruel to you. "Naked" is kind of different from all the other singles we've released and it feels like the right time for doing something like that. This album will give you even more surprises further on!"

Here's what the band had to say about their new video: "The video for 'Bullshit & Backstabbing' is the first video we've done with a crew behind the cameras. The song is a favourite of the album HATED for all of us in the band and it felt right to make a video of it. We found a greasy spot to shoot it at and got to work. Like always we wanted to keep it on a basic level and just do a video with what Sister is all about Just deliver the punk rock we've always done. This is what we do and the video crew Bröderna Blom and Tinnerholm got it down and made it sick. Check it! Ps No animals were seriously harmed during the shooting of this video!"
Footage has been posted online of Swedish act Sister performing an acoustic session for Rock It TV, which is available below. You can also check out Sister's music video for "The Unlucky Minority" by heading over to this location.

Sweden's Sister has just released a music video, off the new album "Hated," for the track "The Unlucky Minority." Check out the video below.
Here's what the band had to say about the new video: "We filmed this video for The Unlucky Minority in one evening without any major plans really but with alotta sweat and beers instead! Keep it simple and keep the Sister approach to it all. This video represents us and just like the album, we've captured the raw and dirty feeling in it. This is a straight rock n' roll video with no fucking around. Just pure Sister. The video was shot and edited by independent film maker Jimmy Johansson (creator of Arkusan Martinsson, Brutt, Brunsås the movie) an 'old friend/drinking pal/roommate to the band' who has followed and hung out with the band since the beginning."
Revolver Magazine has premiered a single titled "Bullshit & Backstabbing," which is off Swedish sleaze and punk influenced metal band Sister's upcoming album "Hated" (out June 7th in North America). You can listen to the song here or check out a teaser for the album below.
The band comments on the new single Bullshit & Backstabbing:
"Pretty much all of our songs takes form in the rehearsal and Bullshit & Backstabbing was no exception. It's a song with an 'up yours' mentality and fits us as a band perfectly. It's a fast track compared to the title track and we knew right from the start that this was goin' to be one of the band's favorite songs on the album. When we took it into the studio it really turned out exactly the way we wanted it to and working together with Martin Sweet (Crashdïet) and Calle Fäldt (Deranged) was really the best way we could have done for this album. Recording the guitars and bass in the studio in Staffanstorp in the southern part of Sweden and vocals in Sweet's studio in Stockholm gave us the possibility to focus on the right things while recording; a lot of stress because of a really tight schedule, but with a result that turned out really fucking great!"
