Witch County's nefarious frights from Devilment – led by vehement frontman Dani Filth - released latest album "Devilment II: The Mephisto Waltzes" on November 18 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
Today, the band release the final trailer in which Dani reflects on his love for Danzig and some of his encounters with “Evil Elvis." Check it out below.
When recalling one of their many meetings, Dani comments: "He came to say hello after a show we played in LA and I was that [flustered] trying to put a top on I fell through the curtain, fell down the stairs and somebody opened the door and I literally fell into him and headbutted him. But he didn't mind at all! People see him as this arrogant man... I've heard all the tales... But last time I saw him, everybody was backstage. Me, my wife and my daughter where literally sitting up on stage to watch him. He's let me do that about three times."
Magic Bullet Records will reissue the long out-of-print "Not Of this World" split 7" from Coliseum and Doomriders in November, and this week pre-orders have come online.
Back in 2005, Coliseum's Ryan Patterson self-released a 12" on his label Auxiliary, which featured both his band and Boston's Doomriders providing an ultimate tribute to the almighty Danzig. Each band turned out a cover of a song from the classic self-titled debut Danzig LP, with Coliseum adding two originals and Doomriders putting up one original track. A CD version of the release was also issued on the defunct Level Plane label.
While the Coliseum material was later repackaged into a collections release on Temporary Residence, the Doomriders material remained out-of-print for many years. As part of the upcoming Magic Bullet Records' 20th anniversary, the label is celebrating the friends and musicians that were a significant inspiration as the years went on, starting with a split 7" featuring both bands' Danzig covers from the 2005 "Not Of This World" spli More...

This was obviously an April Fool's gag. For the full list of our 2016 jokes, head here.
Heavy metal veteran Glen Danzig has confirmed that his eponymous band is following up the latest record, "Skeletons," which consisted of numerous cover versions including the Black Sabbath classic, "N.I.B." with a whole album devoted to Black Sabbath covers.
His cover of the aforementioned song received substantial feedback from social media as well as internet comment sections and the explicit music video for the song has thus far received over 150,000 views on YouTube.
With such a strong reaction to it, the singer, who claims he has found his definitive vocal style at last, will be returning to the studio to artistically interpret such classics as "Paranoid," "War Pigs," "The Wizard" and the previously instrumental piece, "Fluff," which he has penned lyrics for.
No confirmation has yet been received as to whether the videos for these songs will feature more porn stars.
Heavy metal veteran Danzig has posted a new music video online for a cover of the Black Sabbath track, "N.I.B." You can check it out below.
The video includes adult movie stars such as Chanell Heart and is probably best watched when the children (and your wife) are out of the room due to it's graphic content, featuring both nudity and blood.
The song comes from Danzig's latest album, "Skeletons," which is a covers album including performances of such other artists as Aerosmith, Elvis Presley and The Everly Brothers amongst others. More...

Glenn Danzig started his Blackest of the Black tour over a decade ago in 2003. I caught it first in 2005 when he toured with Mortiis, Behemoth (among others) and what I believe was the first appearance of Doyle performing Misfits songs with Danzig. While this year’s lineup isn’t the “blackest,” that distinction goes to the last Blackest of the Black tour in 2010 when he took out Marduk and Possessed, Superjoint and Prong were solid acts nonetheless at this showing at Stubb’s in Austin.
Although they don’t carry the name recognition of a Phil Anselmo or Tommy Victor, openers Witch Mountain put on an impressive performance. The Portland-based doom act were in the news a year ago when longtime singer Uta Plotkin left the group and they hired 19-year-old Kayla Dixon as replacement. Dixon’s performance certainly showed she was up for the task this night. Her range was excellent. Whether she sang in a soaring almost R & B type voice or a death metal growl, her vocals were spot on. The rest of the band’s tones sounded great in their down tempo dirges. Even though there was only about 50 people in the crowd during their set, those in attendance seemed to show their approval. Touring with a big name like Danzig has to be doing wonders for their career.
AFM Records just issued the following announcement about gearing up to release a new vinyl single from Danzig:
"Attention vinyl lovers: The first single 'Devil’s Angels' (from the album 'Skeletons' to be released in autumn) will be out on September 4th as vinyl 7”, strictly limited to 500 units! The B-side of the single will be a vocal & keyboard version of Satan (from Satan's Sadists)."
Its been five years since Danzig’s latest studio album “Deth Red Sabaoth” was released The band finally returns in autumn 2015 with cover album “Skeletons,” which is a collection of Glenn’s renditions of some of his favorite classic songs from ZZ Top and many more.
An upcoming new studio album is also due in early 2016, with further details forthcoming. More...

Cancer Bats is currently on tour in Europe and is ecstatic to announce its inclusion on a string of North American dates with Danzig and Pennywise this July.
The tour will commence July 11th in Pomona, California and run through fourteen cities, coming to a close on July 31st in Las Vegas, Nevada. Vocalist Liam Cormier commented via e-mail from Switzerland:
"Were so excited to be heading out with Danzig and Pennywise! Both bands have been our favorites since we first got into punk and metal so to have a chance to tour with both is like a dream come true! We'll be ripping the pit and headbanging until we puke every night!!"
Cancer Bat's previously announced performances on June 25th and 26th in Calgary and Edmonton had to be cancelled. Cormier clarifies: "Calgary and Edmonton, I'm so sorry that we have to cancel our upcoming shows in June! You know how much we love you ripping babes and bros and we wouldn't do it if we didn't have good reason. The reason we can't play is because are coming back in July to party with fucking Danzig and Pennywise! It's going to be fuckin amazing! Sorry for June and see you in July!" More...
A good night’s sleep and mild weather helped me catch a second wind on the fifth consecutive day of metal concerts. I watched NWOBHM legends Satan at Beerland on Wednesday, the day before HHFF kick-off party. The sun’s rays dimmed just a little due to Superjoint Ritual backdrop and a breeze gave us some relief while catching the bands on the Midway stage. For me, today’s activities didn’t start there, though, it started at the Grindhouse tent located around the side of Emo’s. More...

In some ways, being part of a hugely influential band can be a real hindrance to a person’s future endeavours. Many times they’ll be unable to escape from the shadow of their past glory, though there are some musicians who have bucked the trend and gone on to find success again. Dave Grohl is one such well known example, as is former Misfits frontman Glenn Danzig, who was able to triumph with his eponymous band. Danzig began life in 1986 when Glenn Danzig’s band at the time, Samhain, performed what was billed as their final show in New York. In the audience that night was producer, Rick Rubin, who approached the singer about taking part in a supergroup he was looking to put together. Danzig wouldn’t take part in another band without bassist, Eerie Von and eventually, two other members of Samhain, John Christ and Chuck Biscuits (also formerly of Black Flag and D.O.A.) were brought into the fold. Despite consisting entirely of Samhain members, the group decided to change their moniker to Danzig, given their shift in musical direction.
They wasted little time in getting to work on material and in 1988, released their self-titled debut album, which remains their best selling album. The record contained the single, "Mother," the video of which was banned by MTV for it’s provocative imagery, specifically the ending sequence which featured a chicken being supposedly sacrificed, with an inverted cross then being drawn in the animals blood. Three other music videos, "She Rides," "Am I Demon" and "Twist of Cain," the last of which featured Metallica frontman, James Hetfield performing uncredited backing vocals, were made to promote the album and helped the record reach its popular status. We regret to inform everyone that Norwegian black metal legends Satryicon will no longer be able to perform at this year's Housecore™ Horror Film Festival. The band explained via its official Facebook page:
"Dear U.S fans. We regret to inform that Satyricon will not perform at Knotfest in San Bernardino, CA and Horror Fest in Austin, TX in October 2014. The reasons for not being able to perform at these two festivals are both pragmatic ones and entirely different from each other.
"Satyricon will now shift its attention towards the writing of a new album, re-editing the footage from the 'Live at the Opera' live album/DVD and another project that will be announced at a later stage. It is important for the band that the U.S fans understand that you are far from forgotten and that the band look forward to come over for a full scale U.S tour as soon as it is possible. You deserve it." More...
