SKULLHOG (formerly BILE) have posted the following update:
“Regurgitated Semen Records is waiting for the covers to arrive and shit will finally be released. Expect an aural beating of unmatched brutality. REGURGITATE go for the throat with 3 whirlwind-blasts of bloodpslattered carnage and nihilism while SKULLHOG clobbers and drags themselves through 3 heinous and primitive rituals of blunt object mutilation.
Oh yeah, the equally long awaited SKULLHOG / COFFINS split 7? will see the light of day through No Escape Records in about a month from now, so keep your pants on.”
Due to a recently diagnosed injury, DIMMU BORGIR drummer Hellhammer will be unable to play drums for the band on the remaining festival dates this summer and the upcoming European tour with Amon Amarth and Hatesphere.
Hellhammer's x-ray confirmed a severe neck prolapse causing numbness in his right arm. He will be going into treatment soon and could - quite possibly - undergo corrective surgery.
Taking over drum duties for the upcoming shows will be Tony Laureano (Nile, Angelcorpse, Aurora Borealis), who played for DIMMU BORGIR during the band's North American stint on Ozzfest in 2004 and during festival performances throughout 2005.
No Escape goregrinders BILE have changed their name to SKULLHOG (logo can be seen here). The Dutch artists have received confusion in the past from sharing the same name with the well known New York industrial band. Further information can be found at the band's official MySpace.
BILE are set to "come out" with a new CD at the end of the Summer, the release is also expected to coincide with a tour from the band. More information as we get it.
