Vengeful Posts New Song "Delirium"

Vengeful has issued the following announcement about streaming the "Delirium" track online, which features a guest appearance from Alex Camargo of Krisiun and is taken from Vengeful's new self-titled album:

"Hello everyone!! The wait is over. Vengeful's is now on the shelves. You can now feed on these venomous tracks as much as you need to. Recording and releasing a double-album filled with death metal was an enormous task but those who heard the album all agree that it was worth it.

"For the occasion we thought of celebrating the release by giving you a brand new track dubbed Delirium. It's taken from the Towards Obliteration part of the album and it features none other than Alex Camargo from Brazilian warriors Krisiun on vocals. The brazilian brothers are another obvious influence on Vengeful. Not only for their constant pummelling and viciousness but these guys really are a true example of work ethic and perseverance. They play (just like us) this music for the right reasons. Nothing related to fame or money. It's all about the music and delivering something good to the people that support the scene. Delirium is available on our Myspace or via the MEDIA section of our website.

"You won't be hearing from us for few weeks but make sure to let us hear from you and what you think of the album. It's safe to say we are positive that this is the best representation of the band to date.......by far. Thanks for the support to those out there that actually care.!! Keep spreading the word."

Krisiun Comments On Upcoming Album

Brazilian death metallers Krisiun are set to release "The Great Execution" on November 1st in North America. Century Media commented on the upcoming album:

"Krisiun only used analog gear and instruments while recording this album to avoid the compressed sound that so many musicians produce today. This wise decision resulted in a more organic sound, with the songs on 'The Great Execution' possessing both a warmth and a rawness that is so often lost through digital production. The low end is deeper, with drums that pound instead of bounce and guitar tones that sear rather than hiss."

"With our new record we managed to capture the sound and the vibe that we were always looking for," adds vocalist/bassist Alex Camargo. "Going back to Stage One Studio in Germany and working with Andy Classen again was the right choice. The album came out with a very distinctive and natural sound, shattering the boundaries of the style once more."

The cover artwork was created by Japanese artist Toshihiro Egawa and can be viewed below. "The Great Execution" will be available as a limited edition digipak including a re-recorded version of the Krisiun song "Black Force Domain" as a bonus track, plus as a 180g gatefold vinyl and as a digital download.

Nile And Immolation Tear Down The Trocadero

Nile’s first big US tour in support of their latest album, “Those Whom The Gods Detest,” rolled its way through Philly on January 17th. Immolation, Krisiun, and Dreaming Dead provided support, ensuring that a night of brutal death metal was on the menu. A dreary, drizzle-soaked night made for a perfect accompaniment to the reign of terror that was on display from the time the doors of the Trocadero opened to the bitter end. While the lack of Abigail Williams, who had to drop off the tour due to a band injury, was disappointing, the rest of the bands held their own and put on a show that left many necks aching from all the headbanging going on.
