Commented Doro Pesch: "Along with T.Rex, Led Zeppelin was among my all-time favorite bands of the 70s. They were four phenomenal musicians, who did not only come up with excellent rock songs, but also with wonderful ballads - such as 'Babe I’m Gonna Leave You,' a very emotional track and among my personal faves of the band. This is why it became the first choice for our 'Raise Your Fist - Anniversary Edition.'" More...

Leisure time does not seem to exist for singer Doro Pesch, as she is once again about to face an overwhelming schedule, which has her commute between two worlds: the music business and the movie industry.
After vocal recordings in early October in Hamburg, Doro took off to the Swiss mountains this past week, to finish working on the sequel of "Anuk – Way Of The Warrior," where she is starring in front of director Luke Gasser’s camera. Doro impersonates warrior Meha, who is fighting rivaling hordes with her mountain people in 2,500 BD.
Hardly back, Doro gathered her band for a final rehearsal prior to the upcoming Germany tour, which starts October 12, 2013 in Munich.
A relaxed Doro comments: "Stress? No. I am looking forward to my fans, especially since we’re celebrating our 30th stage anniversary on this tour. And the making of the movie was just great. In one scene I had to bite off an enemy’s ear. Afterwards you can see my face covered with a blood. Looks really tough, but it was so much fun to do this movie. I also love those scenes when I’m surrounded by horses and dogs.”
The spectacle will be available on screen in late 2014. And its soundtrack will most certainly include songs from Doro's most recent output "Raise Your Fist In The Air"." She comments: "For me the song 'Free Your Heart' fits to the film perfectly.“

It was back in 1983 that a then unheard of 19 year old vocalist called Dorothee Pesch entered the stage with her band Snakebite in Düsseldorf, Germany for the very first time.
Just four years later the power woman made her big international break with new combo Warlock and “Triumph and Agony” – featuring the future worldwide hits “All We Are” and “Für Immer” - which has been sold over 5 million times to date.
Today, after about 2,800 shows in more than 50 different countries on four continents, Doro has become a trademark for thrilling rock music and energetic live shows. Yesterday, April 15th, the 30 year anniversary tour kicked off in the Ukrainian capital Kiev. Over the course of the following weeks, it’ll be continued in Russia, Scandinavia, South Europe, Germany, on various summer festivals (Wacken Open Air, Metalfest Loreley Germany among others) and eventually even in North and South America.
Doro comments: “Though it’ll be super-demanding once again, I’m looking forward a lot to the fans all over the world. We’ve received so many requests that we’ll even have to postpone the tour’s scheduled highlight and final show in my home town Düsseldorf from December 2013 to March 2014.” Further details and additional tour dates to be announced soon. Touring in support of the anthemic "Raise Your Fist" full-length, released worldwide via Nuclear Blast late last year, the iconic songstress continues to enthrall the masses with her permeating voice, metallic grace and infectious, onstage charm. Comments the perpetually upbeat Doro:
“So far the tour has been so amazing! It’s the best North American tour we’ve ever done. The venues have been packed and so many have sold out. The fans have been truly amazing and so supportive, it’s been overwhelming! The Joliet, Illinois show was so intense, we’re saving some of the live footage for an upcoming DVD. Some shows have been very long -- everyone wants to hear so many songs; so many encores! We are so looking forward to playing the rest of these shows, especially Hollywood! The old Warlock members, our label and so many friends are coming out. I truly thank all the fans who’ve made these shows so amazing and possible.”
