This week Axl Rose (Guns N Roses) and Slash traded tweets via Twitter related to getting the band back together. Slash started with a post related to putting together a concert to help the effort in Haiti. Axl took this to mean to put back the original GNR lineup and blasted Slash for using this tragedy as an excuse. Slash responded, clarifying his intent of raising money with a concert of many bands, not reuniting GNR. W.A.S.P. has issued the following update about their upcoming summer European festival appearances:

"The band are currently adding dates to a European summer festival tour. Back by popular demand W.A.S.P. will be making return visits to : Wacken, Sweden Rock Festival, & more in the summer of 2010. Darrell Roberts Forms New Band Sintanic

Ex-W.A.S.P. and Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Darrell Roberts has now launched a new band titled Sintanic. "I mean no disrespect to anyone I have worked with in the past because I regret nothing! Shock rock veterans W.A.S.P. has announced that the name of their brand new studio album will be, "Babylon" and that the record is set for release on October 12th. The record is a concept album of sorts and will be based on the biblical visions of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Onslaught And More Added To Hard Rock Hell III

The third edition of the Hard Rock Hell festival in Wales has added some more bands to the current bill. The event will now feature performances from British thrash metal legends Onslaught as well as Evile, Toxic Holocaust and Susperia. The festival will be held between December 4th - 6th in Prestatyn in North Wales.
