The genre-bending djent maestros from Circles today release a video clip for the "Sand and Wind" single. Circles' April 1st comeback show at The Worker’s Club in Fitzroy is on track to sell out before doors open and announcements about release dates for an upcoming album are due soon. Stay tuned!
Circles is one of Australia’s finest progressive heavy music assets and now the band returns to the fray with latest offering, a new track entitled "Sand & Wind," which is the first morsel of a new record due in 2016.
The band will come out of hibernation to give ravenous fans a taste of this new material on April 1st at The Worker’s Club in Fitzroy. "Sand & Wind" marks group's first new music since the 2013 album "Infinitas."
Drummer Dave Hunter comments: “We've been bunkered down for just over 12 months writing and recording our second (yet to be titled) full length album. One thing we all agreed on was that we didn't want to write 'Infinitas 2.0.' Without giving too much away, this will be a side of Circles that people wouldn't have heard before and we're really excited about it!" More...
Australian outfit Circles just issued this announcement online about parting ways with the band's guitarist:
"It’s with heavy hearts that we share some sad news with you all. After several discussions it has come to light that Matty will no longer continue playing guitar in Circles. Ultimately, Matty would like to explore some other musical directions and we would never want to hold him back from pursuing what makes him happy creatively.
"We’ve shared some crazy times together that we’ll never forget and wish him all the best in this next chapter. A great musician, a brother and a best mate. We love ya dude! As for Circles, this is definitely not the end. We are working around the clock to get album number 2 out to your ear holes and can’t wait for you to hear this thing!" More...
Australia's Circles just released a new video for "On My Way," which can be seen below thanks to Metalhammer.
The clip was directed and edited by Dave Hunter, with filming by Will Gaffney of Artscope Pictures. You can also pick up the band's new "Infinitas" album over at this location.
A teaser trailer has been posted online for the upcoming Euroblast 2013 festival, which will take place from October 11th - 13th in Essigfabrik, Cologne, Germany.

Australia's Circles has teamed up with Metal Hammer to release a new video clip for "Another Me," taken off the band's upcoming debut album, due out in 2013.

Melbourne based Circles has posted an 8 minute video diary from the current Eye Embedded tour exclusively on Terrorizer TV. The band is taking its brand of catchy, modern metal to the road in a string of dates across the east coast of Australia, which sees the group playing this weekend in Sydney before heading to Brisbane on February 3rd. Australian band Circles has posted a new music video for the first single "Eye Embedded," which will appear on the debut EP "The Compass." The EP will be released on November 14, 2011, which will also include a remix edition of the track, two b-sides, and an instrumental arrangement.

On May 16th, Australian act Circles is set to register the band's presence on the international metal radar with the release of a debut EP titled "The Compass." The EP will see release through Basick Records.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with got-djent.com drummer Dave Hunter comments: “We’re just really excited to get the music out through Basick and to be working with them. They’ve got the same vision as us and the future looks very exciting. There are lots of things on the horizon, lots of things to do. No time to waste. Australia's Circles has announced its signing to Basick Records. The band's 6 track debut EP "The Compass" is set for release through Basick in Spring, 2011.
David Hunter, drummer with the band comments: "We are stoked to be working with Basick Records and to be receiving such a positive international response. Our debut EP ‘The Compass’ has been along time in the making and we are really excited to get it out there and to hear the reactions. Work on the first album has already begun and is coming along really well for such early stages. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us up until this point and we promise the best is yet to come!"
