The Greenery Streaming New Song
Long Beach thrash-punks The Greenery are gearing up for the impending release of a new album called "It’s Looking Grim," and have now debuted the first new song from the record, “Reapers Keeper." Check out the song below.
“After enduring countless miles driven in three vans, dealing with busted trailers and blown transmissions, and surviving off of cup o' noodles to cure our severe hangovers, we've officially finished our sophomore album at Buzzbomb Sound Lab with our scotch-loving producer Paul Miner,” states vocalist Matt Lanners. “It's been quite the journey coming back from being so implausibly broke (due to the road being a cruel mistress), however there's never been a moment of giving in to the hard times. We are indebted to our loyal fans/friends for the self-released and funded album that we are about to release; it is our thanks to you being there with us in every sweaty and grimy venue…head-banging.”
Although The Greenery released debut album "Spit & Argue" with Prosthetic Records, the band will be taking a completely different approach for the follow-up, "It’s Looking Grim," by self-releasing it and by-passing labels all together; delivering the music straight to the fans. More...

This Is Hell Embarking On North American Tour
Long Island's This Is Hell will continue its run of relentless touring this June/July with another round of North American headlining tour-dates, “Great American Thrash,” beginning June 15th in Whitehall, Pa. and wrapping up in Ottawa, Ontario, Can. on July 22nd. The Greenery (Prosthetic Records), Xerxes (No Sleep Records), Waster (Gold Stock Records) and Hollow Earth (Panic Records) will accompany the hard working, veteran four-piece on select dates.
“North American touring in the summer is always difficult due to everyone and their mothers’ band wanting to go out during summer break and hit the festivals,” said guitarist, Rick Jimenez. “So we put together a super diverse package of bands we really like, joining at different times throughout the tour, to keep it fresh.”
This Is Hell just wrapped up a five-week tour last weekend with a performance at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in Worcester, Mass. The band is touring in support of its fourth studio album, "Black Mass" (reviewed here), which released in October on Rise Records.
