Also joining the invasion will be Portland's crossover thrashers Wehrmacht and legendary Swedish death metal assassins, Grave.

Following a brutal East Coast stint supporting High On Fire this Fall, the ruthless faction known as Primate will tear through Georgia with several new shows.
This weekend the band will bulldoze its own locale with a double-tap of shows confirmed in Atlanta on Friday and Savannah Saturday. Additionally, two other new hometown shows have been locked for February 1st with Capitalist Casualties, Dead In The Dirt and more, and on February 8th with Torche and Whores.
Relapse officially issued Primate’s debut album "Draw Back A Stump" last year. The rabid release throws down with ten tracks of rampant punk/grind-fueled old-school hardcore in barely twenty minutes.

Following the recent announcement of several new stateside concerts in support of tenth studio album "Honor Found In Decay," Neurosis has added another city to the list and has began disclosing opening support acts on the confirmed shows. Performances in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Seattle were disclosed last week, and most recently Neurosis announced that Chicago will be treated to some sonic devastation on December 30th.
Atlanta will feature openers Rwake, Primate, and Neurot kin USX. The Chicago date will bear support from Bloodiest and The Atlas Moth. Opening Los Angeles’ gig will be Neurot’s Ides of Gemini and Neurot alumni Savage Republic. And the Seattle date will feature a riotous opening lineup including Stoneburner, Tragedy, and Black Breath.
Tickets for all four confirmed shows are available now, and even more Neurosis live appearances are being locked down to be announced in the coming days.

The digital album "La Educacion, Nuestra Razon," which contains 14 bands from Chile is available now at this location for free download. "La Educacion, Nuestra Razon" is a free album that gathered 14 Chilean metal bands and artists. Half of this list have recorded an exclusive track for this compilation, and the other half licensed their already released material with the only propose of protesting and making awareness of the cause of education. Ohio road burners Lo-Pan are readying for their next round of live assaults supporting heavy metal juggernauts High On Fire. The full North American takeover will commence on November 15th in Austin, Texas and is slated to run through December 22nd in San Francisco, California.
Additional support will come from Goatwhore as well as special guests Primate (featuring Mastodon's Bill Kelliher and Kevin Sharp of Brutal Truth) and Corrosion of Conformity on select dates. Additionally, Lo-Pan will be picking up a few off dates in surrounding cities. Check the full itinerary below.

Boca Sucia webzine has announced the first group of bands/songs that will be included on the compilation album "La Educacion, Nuestra Razon" which will be released as a free download via Digmetalworld/KulMusic Records. The first list of bands will contribute songs consisting of material that was previously recorded and has been licensed to this album. The full list of bands will be released on Nov 15th, and this second group of bands will contribute material that is currently been recorded especially for this album.

Ruthless grindcore faction Primate has been confirmed to support High on Fire on the newly announced North American tour later this Fall. Bringing a raging brew of old-school, hardcore influenced speed-grind disorder to the masses, Primate will be infiltrating the lineup on seven East Coast dates of the massive tour alongside Goatwhore and LoPan. Relapse Records officially issued the band’s debut album "Draw Back A Stump" in July, following the extremely limited self-released CD version last year. Relapse’s re-release bears three additional tracks not found on the initial version. Stream "Draw Back A Stump" in its entirety at this location.
New Orleans, LA's Goatwhore will return to the road this Fall in support of High on Fire. The tour will run from November 15th through December 22nd with Primate (Kevin Sharp of Brutal Truth, Bill Kelliher of Mastodon, & more) on select dates in November and Corrosion of Conformity on select dates in December. Additionally, a brand new video for the song "Death to the Architects of Heaven" from Goatwhore's latest album, "Blood for the Master," has been completed and is streaming online. Goatwhore is also excited to announce that "Diabolical Submergence of Rebirth," a track from the "A Haunting Curse album," will be heard in the upcoming season of HBO's Treme. Atlanta based punk/grind metal band Primate posted a trailer for the forthcoming LP ""Draw Back a Stump." The album is scheduled for release on July 3, 2012 through Relapse Records.

The official line-up has been announced for the forthcoming Scion Rock Festival. The 2011 edition of the Scion Rock Fest will be headlined by death metal legends Morbid Angel and will feature 19 other bands. Scion Rock Fest 2011 is set to take place on March 5 in Pomona, California at the Fox Theater and the Glass House, with two other stages being built for the event by festival organizers. Six additional bands will be announced in the near future while you can find a list of the confirmed bands below:
