Lord Vicar Announces European Shows

Lord Vicar will be hitting the road with Orchid and Sigirya for an upcoming European tour this April.

Lord Vicar's guitarist Kimi Kärki stated: "This will be a real triple headliner deal, three different bands, each with their individual charisma, voice and power… Who will survive and what will be left of them?! IF you live it through, you can tell your grandchildren that you were there." The tour poster can be found here.

Lord Vicar Performance Footage Available

Footage has been posted online of Lord Vicar performing the song "Sinking City" live at Nosturi in Helsinki, Finland on December 3rd, 2011. You can check out the clip after the jump. "Sinking City" is taken off the band's recently released "Signs of Osiris" album. Lord Vicar also commented on the clip:

"From the Pentagram support gig last Saturday. Chris was improvising some, however staying quite nicely in context during this one (Albert, in the days of Bizarre, used to pretty much always scat about 'tits' and 'ass' when he had blackouts). Speaking of the devil... Jari, the artist formerly known as Hon. Rev. Earl of Void in quest drums here. Our thoughts are with Gareth, who has to suffer the Kuwait heat."

Finnish Doom Metal Act Lord Vicar Details New LP

Lord Vicar is set to release its second full length LP "Signs of Osiris" on October 31, 2011 through The Church Within Records. A vinyl edition of the album is also in the works. This will mark the band's first release since 2008's "Fear No Pain."

Weekend Beast Posts New Demo Tracks

Vocalist Chritus of Finnish act Lord Vicar has started a new band called Weekend Beast. The act now has two new demo tracks available for streaming online.
